View of the historic lookout tower along the southwest ridge of Brown Mountain in Glacier National Park. The trail to reach the tower is only 5 miles long, but is one of the toughest hikes in the park due to the elevation gain of 4,200 feet. The tower was rehabilitated in 1999 and is on the National Historic Lookout Register.
